You are already a certified diver and just want to dive, you came to the right spot. We are a busy dive shop offering backpacker style diving, at backpacker prices. We pride ourselves on our high standards, and between us we have over 40 years experience diving the local reefs!
CANCELLATION POLICY – Please note that when signing up for dives that we will keep that space for you and will therefore need to charge you for those dives, unless cancelled 24 hours in advance. This includes no shows for any reason, including sickness etc.
For guests of Yemaya Reefs we will unfortunately have to ask for payment in advance at the time of booking, as we have experienced very high no show and late cancellation rates, maybe due it being slightly further away. Payment can be made with Wise or Revolut. Other payment methods will incur fees (card 6%, PayPal 10%)
Special Rates and Information
Dive Times
We do 2 single tank dives each morning (returning to the dive shop between dives), meeting at either 8am or 10.30am for your first dives with us.
We ask all divers to bring proof of certification and to have dived within the last year. If its been a year or more since you last dived please talk to us first about doing a refresher (see our courses page), If you don’t have proof of certification (physical card or on your phone) please let us know in advance so we can check online. Divers without proof of certification (not just a log book) will not be able to dive with us.
Night Dive
night dive supplement is $10 added to these prices, per person (minimum 4 people and 24 hours notice required). Package prices per person and cannot be shared
Equipment
We do not charge for equipment usage so are happy to provide equipment if you do not have or do not want to bring your own. We use budget style rental BCDs, regulators etc. and adhere to the “small bubbles, no troubles” motto. Also we use full foot warm water fins (a small selection of open heel & booties), and short wetsuits in either 2 or 3 mm, so if you feel the cold you may prefer to bring your own.

Payment
Payment can be made in cash (US$ or Cordobas), or by card. Card payments are subject to a 6% processing fee charged by the banks. Please bear in mind when making reservations that weather conditions will affect dive conditions and may limit visibility and choice of dive sites. Refunds will not be given for low visibility or repeated dive sites, or for sickness (whether self induced or otherwise). We recommend you carry adequate insurance to cover you for such eventualities.
No Shows
Unless dives have been pre-paid then no-shows will result in the cancellation of the remainder of any dives booked. We are easily contactable in person, by phone or email every morning from 6.30am. Dives cancelled less than 24 hours before the dive will still need to be paid for, whatever the reason, including sickness etc.
Pro Prices
We offer a 10% discount for dive professionals (Divemasters and Instructors) upon showing your pro-level card. These prices are for DMs and Instructors with proof of renewed active status. Expired status will be at regular dive prices.
Group Bookings
Please contact us for terms and conditions for group bookings (4 or more divers). Group bookings will require a 20% non-refundable deposit 30 days prior to the reservation with the balance payable on arrival and subject to our 24 hour cancellation policy. Discounts will vary according to season.
